Pixel Live uses SRT to send your live video and audio to compatible software such as vMix, OBS Studio, FFmpeg, and other SRT receivers.
SRT uses two connection modes: Caller & Listener
One side must be Caller and the other side must be Listener.
Pixel Live as Caller:
Pixel Live connects to the IP address and port of the receiving device or software.
→ Use Scan Local Network to automatically detect reachable devices and select a target IP.
The other side must be set to Listener.
Pixel Live as Listener:
Pixel Live waits for an incoming SRT connection on the selected port.
The other side must be set to Caller. The device or software must connect to your Pixel Live IP address and port.
Defines the buffer used by SRT to handle network instability and packet retransmissions.
Higher latency improves reliability on unstable networks, at the cost of a longer delay.
Recommended: set the latency to at least 4× the network ping between the two endpoints.
The same latency must be configured on both sides.
Passphrase
Optional password used to encrypt the SRT connection.
The same passphrase must be configured on both sides.
Stream ID
Optional identifier used to distinguish a specific stream.
Some SRT servers or streaming providers require a Stream ID for the connection.
The app automatically generates the stream URL:
srt://<ip>:<port>?mode=caller/listener&...
You can also switch to manual mode to edit it directly.
Once both sides are configured, start the connection. Press LIVE in Pixel Live.
Pixel Live will start streaming your camera to the connected device or software.
You're ready to go!
